ITIL Accreditation Scheme bridge from itil v1 and 2 to ITIL v3
As of 1st July 2011, the ITIL Accreditation Scheme does not provide any officially recognized Bridging courses between ITIL version 1 or 2 and ITIL version 3.

The consequences simply mean, irrespective of existing ITIL v1 or v2 qualifications, if you require to be ITIL v3 certified, you must follow the Accreditation Scheme as if you were just starting out.

I've completed my ITIL V3 in 2012 and do I need to appear for bridge to take up ITIL intermediate certification on Service Operation?

Once you have completed the ITIL V3 Foundation course you can then look to study your Intermediate course(s).

The 'Bridge' courses were for those who were ITIL V2 certified and wanted to bridge through to the V3 certification. These courses were withdrawn sometime ago and do not apply anymore.

Good luck in your studying.
