Commissioned by the Office of Government Commerce (OGC) in the UK, the official owners of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library), the document is described as an Alignment White Paperâ„¢ and contains a table that identifies the differences between ITIL v3 and ISO/IEC 20000, referencing specific clause numbers and text in the standard and ITIL V3. Where appropriate notesâ„¢ have been added to assist the reader by the authors.
