Northgate ITIL Service Provider wins managed services contract
Sept 2011: Reading, UK -Northgate Information Services has been awarded a seven year IT managed service contract by Reading Borough Council, worth £75.6 million ($121.8m).
 
Building on the success of a previous contract that is due to expire this year, Northgate will provide IT services including consulting, software development, data storage services, local area network services and telecommunications services. The previous contract used Northgate's ITIL-based "Model Office" methodology for service management.
