Commissioned by the Office of Government Commerce (OGC) in the UK, the official owners of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library), the document is described as an 'Alignment White Paper' and contains a table that identifies the differences between ITIL V3 and ISO/IEC 20000, referencing specific clause numbers and text in the standard and Itil V3. Where appropriate 'notes' have been added to assist the reader by the authors.
